Since most cajun mixes for sale here in the Netherlands contain way, way too much salt (sometimes up to 60-70%) I decided to make mix my own version. Here’s the recipe. Just mix everything together. Very tasty.
1 tablespoon paprika (mild)
2 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 / 4 teaspoon white pepper
3 / 4 teaspoon black pepper
1 / 2 teaspoon oregano (dried)
1 / 2 teaspoon thyme (dried)
celery – basil – dragon – cumin – crushed bay leaves (dried, each 1 / 2 teaspoon))
